I’m a father in crisis. My twin babies—my last surviving children—are both in hospital right now, diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening condition called aplastic anemia.

This disease means their bone marrow isn’t producing enough blood cells. They are dangerously vulnerable to infections, internal bleeding, and extreme fatigue. Treatment is urgent — and expensive.
